This website is devoted to my research, in particular, a comparative religions approach to biblical studies.

In regards to my study, I am concerned with what the Bible says, how the Bible says it,  and how people engage the Bible.  Likewise, I am intrigued by the Bible’s appeal to people of various socio-cultural and physical locations and how people’s experiences color their interpretation of the Bible, God, and themselves.

In other words, my work makes use of anthropological practices, such as ethnographic research and archaeology, to glean information about the relationship between the Bible and people.

‘Sowing the Seed’ is a forum for you to experience my research as I witness the dynamic process that is scripture-making. 

It is my hope and prayer that you will find something in my work that will help you in both your knowledge and questions about the Bible.
